St. Patrick's Church

Welcome to our parish!

Dear Friends in Christ,

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. I hope it will be informative. Saint Patrick Church, McHenry, has propagated the Catholic Faith, inspiring people in our community since its founding in 1840. Saint Patrick is known for a strong sense of love and hospitality that remind us of the early Church and witness to the Gospel; “by this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35) Our sense of communal hospitality is rooted in our faith as a loving community of God's family, called to holiness of life through our baptism. This spirit has permeated our history since our founding.

St. Patrick is your home whether your lineage is traceable to our founding families, or you are new to our community. St. Patrick parish is always growing as we welcome new individuals and families who share, take their place, and form a part of our parish faith story and tradition. Together we are here to respond to our vocation, which is God's call for each of us to claim our faith in Christ. In our parish you will discover a welcoming community that is eager to assist and support each other in our journey of faith.

With choicest blessings from the Lord and every personal good wish to you, I welcome you to the website of our faith family.
