Even before there was a St. Patrick Church, there was a St. Patrick cemetery.  St. Patrick’s Churchyard Cemetery was established in 1851 and has approximately 540 grave sites and a columbarium with nearly 100 niches. A walk through the churchyard cemetery can be a pleasant experience.  You will find names from founding families of our St. Patrick Church and familiar last names of parishioners and friends in the community.

 In 1966, a second location was acquired which is now the home of St. Patrick Countryside Cemetery at 3805 W Ellen Rd in McHenry.
