Who we are: Our ministry is dedicated to the mission of joyfully, faithfully, and lovingly sharing the good news of our God-given human dginity from conception until natural death.
What we do: Our ministry seeks to respect and celebrate God and His gifts of life, family, and faith through prayer and worship, education and communication, healing and reconciliation, care and service. Some of our activities include Eucharistic adoration, Rosary for Life, National Life Chain, Mother's Day Flower Sales, Baby-Bottle Project, Candy for Life, 40-Days for Life, legislative and public policy alerts and spiritual adoption.
Who can join: The Respect Life Ministry welcomes everyone! Adults and teenage members of the parish and surrounding community are particularly encouraged to join. Members of the RLM needn't be members of St. Patrick Church.
What does membership involve: Membership can involve anything from attending meetings and organizing activities, to occasional participation in events, to simply being on a contact list for alerts about life-related legislation. Members are encouraged to take part in this ministry in a way that fits their availability and talents.
When we meet: This summer 2023, the RLM will be holding organizational meetings to restart the ministry. Anyone is welcome to participate in this process and help plan events for the upcoming year. We will be holding regular monthly meetings starting in the fall. Days and times will be announced here, social media and the parish bulletin this summer. (FYI: Meeting attendance is not required for membership)
